Unique and intricate creations in wood
After finishing college with my City & Guild's certificates in furniture-making and restoration, I then learned true cabinet-making through an apprenticeship at the renowned Edward Barnsley Workshop in Hampshire, United Kingdom. In 2004, I relocated to Bermuda to fulfil commissioned orders in private residences, working mainly with local cedar. After emigrating to New Zealand in 2011, I have had the good fortune to establish my own workshop in Karekare, West Auckland.
Now I design and build my own creations, including fulfilling small commissioned orders. I work alone, using traditional workwork techniques like tenons and dovetails. The intricacies and craftsmanship is apparent to the discerning eye.
